More from Diana

Why did you choose this colour?

This colour embodies the feeling that sits right above the peak of a mountain, but not too high up in the sky. It holds a sense of wonder, anticipation, openness, and calmness all at once. If one colour had to describe me, it would be this one.

What, besides advertising, are you passionate about?

I'm curious about everything so my passions outside of advertising are always changing, at the moment they are archery, baking, paper cutting, and tagging Monarch butterflies.

How do you want to impact the future of advertising?

I want to see Canada as a leader in Research and Strategy. I think it's time for us to step up to the challenge and begin working on the foundation to make that happen. It's not a goal that can be achieved in five or ten years but I would hope that in my career I would aid in starting the process.

How do you practice ideation or overcome a creative block?

Observing and conversing with people outside of the industry can be very insightful. Taking the time to go on a stroll, finding quiet places, and zoning out while surrounded by a group of people chatting away usually does wonders for ideation.

What is currently the number one goal on your bucket list

Learning how to dance so I can be a part of a dance company performing in The Carnival of Brazil.
